Blinded

Hi everyone, having a good day? I know you are.

So I know I am not the only one whose mom has been exploiting Youtube like anything. My mom has really gone deep into all those voodo stuff like vastu Shani, Rahu, Ketu etc. Every morning I have to listen to some bhajans and the these bhajans are never constant because in some days my mom again goes on Youtube and sees another couple of videos which eventually changes her whole thinking process. And also she's really into God and keeps all those fasts so she doesn't eat for at least three days per week then eventually starts feeling weak.

So apart from that, it really got me into thinking that why do we need to do all this just to impress god? Doesn't he already knows everything?

Now a days people are being so crazy in order to impress god that they are actually forgetting how to be a humanbeing. Each and everyone are just standing in line on an early Saturday with a some oil, couple of sesame seeds and garland to impress their beloved god, thinking if I'll do this then he'll get impressed and grant me all my wishes.If this was true then the person giving you this advice (Pandits) won't be living in a 1Rk flat that also given by the rich trustees of the temple where they come to do pooja every day.

People are not god loving now a days, they are god fearing. If you see all the manuscripts and all the matras irrespective of religion are just, we giving compliments to god, this is because those were written by people who actually loved god whole heartedly and their belife on god was unshakeable. But now everyone is doing all those stuff just because they think that if we wont do this then our god will get angry and hell cast a spell at me or my family and a chaos will start. No! why would he do that?, he don't have a grudge against you he is living in peace you also live in peace. Simple as that.

I agree that just hard work isn't enough and we all need a bit of that divine power that is around us to nudge us to the right place at the right time. But just blindly following anything that anyone tells you in your desperate times is really not an option. They are merely taking advantage of you. According to me all they actually help, is by giving us reassurance. Tha's it!

I could be wrong and there might be people out there who can actually foresee thing and really have our benefit at heart and tell us stuff which have a positive impact in our lives. But I don't think that god is so selfish that he wants your offerings and then only he'll do something for you.

 If you'll do good to others and help people in need be kind and compassionate to others, then according to me you are settled for life. The good deeds which you do now will get back to you no matter what, and also in ways you wont even expect.

So I just want to request everyone to start loving god and continue your
spree of good deeds and I assure you that you'll be taken care of.
