Hasty love

I know it's late but I promise it won't happen again. Now enjoy.

So you know as each of my blogs starts with me sitting and talking to my friends and observing them and then suddenly getting an epiphany about society. So this time also it's the same, we were sitting and talking and one of my friends said he was going to see a girl and the girl actually agreed to see him (haha). I won't say we were surprised (because he reads my blogs) but we were curious. Yeah, let's go with curious.
Then we asked about her and what she does and what she looks like and stuff. You know the usual but seemed unusual because he was at the other side answering all those questions but not asking (haha).  After a couple of questions we found out that she was 2 years older than him which we thought was obvious because his name was Arjun and he looks kind of like Nick so you know, we made fun of that.
But after further investigation we found out that she had a 'Chava' I kid you not that was the exact word he used. And we are talking about a proper South Bombay guy with allergies and stuff.

This made me think how much the definition of love has changed. It's mutating faster than Coronavirus.
Just think of that atrocity, that betrayal.
I mean what is love? for me, it's being true to something or someone, ignoring all the chattering and blabber of the whole world who thinks it's not for you. That is love for me. You might think it's a bit extreme but why? How do you know the limit a certain someone can go for their love?

Anyways, but if you aren't true to the person you say you are in love with then you won't fight for it as much as you would for your true love, you won't make sacrifices, you won't be that involved, you won't be yourself (the amazing one and only unique thing that you are). Aren't these reasons enough?

Why be hasty and double date or triple date? you might be happy and have fun for a while but surely would regret it later. Just like how you hastily eat ice cream and eat a whole scoop at the same time, for a while it tastes soooooo goooood, but in some time you get brain freeze which is more than enough to make you throw out all that ice cream you stuffed in your face.

Why not wait and enjoy each bite of that creamy deliciousness. Give each bit a fair chance. You might not like the flavor you are eating then try a different one. Don't just eat for the sake of it.

And as a very wise person [me(self-proclaimed)]  said,
Agar pyaar dhundnejao, tho mushkil hai.
Lekin sabar rakho tho mumkin hai...
